LIMITED WARRANTY

Important Notice

Before your first ride, please read the manual(s) provided with each
Product. They contain important safety information and information
about assembly, use, and maintenance of your Oekibe eBike.
Oekibe requires that you register your Oekibe eBike with
Oekibe within 45 days of receiving your eBike in order to take
advantage of this warranty. This will also allow Oekibe to provide
you with better service in the future. Product Registration

As explained in more detail below, Oekibe warrants its products for
a limited period time from the date of original retail purchase
against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally
in accordance with the user manuals. “Original retail purchase”
means the Product was purchased new for the first time directly
from Oekibe or from an authorized Oekibe Dealer. 

Only the original owner of an eBike purchased directly from Oekibe
or an authorized Oekibe Dealer is covered by this Limited Warranty.
The Warranty period begins upon receipt of the eBike and shall
terminate immediately at the end of the Warranty period.  The
Limited Warranty will not apply to any subsequent owner or other
transferee of the eBike. Stolen eBikes are expressly excluded from
this warranty.

Any unauthorized alterations or repairs prior to making a warranty claim are
not covered and may void this warranty

If any eBike purchase becomes subject to a credit card chargeback in any
amount, and you are still in possession of the eBike, then this Warranty
shall be invalidated until the credit card chargeback has been resolved.

Shipping Damage
We will replace any parts deemed to have been damaged during shipping.
Shipping damage must be reported to Oekibe within 14 days of delivery to
the purchaser. This applies to all products including bikes and accessories.

Replacement parts will not be sent until photographic evidence has been
provided to Oekibe. Oekibe may request additional documentation (such as
video) to assist with accurately diagnosing the problem and processing the
warranty claim.

You will NOT be refunded for compensation for your time or efforts
replacing damaged parts, nor for any costs you incur having others perform
replacement or repair of any such parts.

Ownership And Warranty Period


Ownership: The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the
original owner/purchaser. In no event shall the limited warranty apply to any
subsequent owners or other transferees of the electric bicycle.
Warranty Period: Starts from the date you receive the electric bicycle and
ends immediately upon the expiration of the warranty period or upon selling
or transferring the electric bicycle to another person.

Warranty
Coverage - Components All Oekibe eBikes and their individual
covered components as defined in the Bicycle Parts Warranty List
(the “List”). Furthermore, they are warrantied for the period
applicable to the type of part as identified in the List, with quick-
wear parts being warrantied against all manufacturing defects in
material or workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the
date of the original purchase of the eBike by the original purchaser,
and non-wearable parts being warrantied against all manufacturing
defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year after original
purchase by the original purchaser. 


This warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of any
components.


Coverage - Battery: The battery, if properly maintained and charged, is
designed to retain up to 75% of its original capacity during this period.
Proper battery care and charging should result in up to 75% of original
capacity remaining during this timeframe. Defective batteries and motors
will be repaired or replaced free of charge for the customer during the
warranty period. Only Oekibe can assess defectiveness of batteries and motors. The battery warranty does not cover damage from power surges,
use of a 3 rd  party charger, use of any improper charger, improper or
neglected maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear, or water
damage. This warranty expressly excludes any consequential damages
that may arise from defective components.

Note: If replacement equipment is issued, the warranty coverage will end
either 6 months from the date of replacement or at the end of the existing
warranty period, whichever comes later. Oekibe reserves the right to
replace defective eBikes with eBikes of equal or higher value.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

This warranty gives you specific rights which may vary from state to state.
Normal wear and tear is not covered under this warranty, nor is damage
caused by failing to follow instructions and guidelines in the manual, acts of
God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations,
modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not
originally intended or compatible with the Oekibe eBike as sold, operator
error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up
maintenance are not covered under this warranty.

Oekibe will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure
or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized
parts. Any modifications made to the bike by the customer will void
the warranty.

Determining whether damage or defect to an eBike protected by
this limited warranty falls within the coverage provided herein shall
be in the sole discretion of Oekibe.

Customer will be responsible for shipping and installation costs
associated with the replacement of any parts or components.

Warranty parts will only be shipped within the continental United States and
Canada.
